• Review of the test request and refinement together with the design team

• Focus on wind tunnel testing but not only, also support other propulsion test campaigns if required

• Preparation of a test concept

• Detailed design of the test & measurement setup

• Coordination of technicians, suppliers, and other support teams

• Planning of the test execution, including test procedure and risk assessments

• Hands-on execution of the test

• Post-processing of the data and results reporting

• Create and review engineering documentation for our test setups and results

• Feedback your findings and opinion to the design team for product improvement

• Support resource and workload planning and coordination with interfacing teams

• A University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (M.Sc/M.Eng preferred)

• Good knowledge and experience in propulsion testing, measurement methods, instrumentation and windtunnel testing is required

• Good knowledge of data analysis and post-processing is required

• Good knowledge and experience in processes, methods, and best practices of testing within the aerospace industry is beneficial

• Good knowledge and experience in testing multi-kW electrical machines are beneficial

• Driven individual with the ability to probe and challenge assumptions

• High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a diverse team, and a target-oriented work style with analytic problem-solving skills is required

• Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language is beneficial

• Ability and willingness to travel to external facilities (in Germany, Switzerland & Netherlands) to support test execution (≈15% of the time)

• Working on-site (remote work possible) and submission of English resume required
